How Does This Brazilian But Lift Exercises Work?
Drawing
on his expertise and knowledge of Brazilian Samba, classic ballet,
traditional cardio exercises and a whole host of secret maneuvers,
Leandro will sculpt, blast and tone your booty until it is a thing of
beauty. Want some specific exercises? Here are a number of moves
previewed by Cosmopolitan in 2005 - great techniques that he's been
refining and that will soon be available on his Brasil Butt Lift workout program!
The Caliente Corkscrew
Relax
on your left side with your head on your arm. Put your right palm
before your chest for support. Now bring your upper knee up to your
chest and turn your hip slightly so your knee is pointing toward the
floor. Point your foot so that your heel is angled toward the ceiling. Lift and lower your top leg using your full range of motion. Try it for 20 reps before switching sides.
Ballerina Booster
 Stand
with your feet wider than standard shoulder-width, toes pointed out to
your sides. Roll your tailbone under and squeeze your glutes tight. Let
your arms hang in front of you. Descend into a plie squat while
simultaneously lifting your arms at shoulder height. This will help you
keep good balance. Sink as low as you can comfortably go without
allowing your knees to creep past your toes. Hold for a two-second
count and then return to the starting position. Repeat this up-and-down
motion 10 times. On the eleventh rep, go down and hold. Pulse at the
bottom for 20 seconds.
The Samba Tornado Leandro
ends all of his classes with a fun booty shake to break down all the
lactic acid that's accumulated during the workout. Stand with your feet
wider than shoulder-width apart. Place your hands on your hips and
swivel around in wide circles. Move right, left, front, and back with
some attitude, really sticking that booty out there. Move up and down
until your muscles feel loose and relaxed. Your done!
The Buzz: Read The Brazil Butt Lift ReviewsKeep
your eyes on this spot--as soon as the product comes out, and people
start putting official reviews on the web, we'll begin compiling them
here for your convenience. One thing is for certain, though--if
Leandro's at-home workout is anywhere as popular as his Equinox Gym
classes, this thing is going to be a monster of a hit!
Who Is Leandro Carvalho?
A
Brazilian who performed professional ballet before coming to the States
to dance and perform in New York musicals, Leandro Carvalho soon spread
his expertise into the realm of physical fitness, having noticed that
the men and women around him on the stage boasted some of the tightest,
firmest booties in the world. Ballerinas, samba dancers, and the women
who practice the Afro-Brazilian fighting style of capoeira all sported
the best buns—“not too bulky, just tight and perky,” as he told Cosmo
in an interview.
With this in mind, and having earned every possible exercise instructor
certificate out there, Leandro quickly began to gain a large following
with his Brazilian themed classes that were designed to not only shred
and tone but also give everybody a great time doing it. So whether he’s
teaching the Brazilian Tummy Tuck or the Amazonian Rhythms class to the
public in New York or celebrities in L.A. or international lingerie
models in their own homes, Leandro emphasizes the same core moves that
have made the Brazilian booty and beach body in general an
international phenomenon.
Brazil Butt Lift vs Brazilian Butt Lift - Whats' the difference?
Straining, sweating, lunging and leaping, women across our nation are striving for the perfect butt.
They stare at their profiles in body length mirrors, they stare at
skinny jeans, stare at lingerie catalogs and ponder the inscrutable
perfection of the rear ends of such Brazilian supermodels. The perfect
ass has become the new fitness ideal, and everywhere people seek to
acquire by any means necessary the booty of their dreams. In the end,
however, there are basically two ways to go about sculpting your tush.
Go under the knife, or subject yourself to an ass sculpting fitness
routine. Which one should you do? Ok, forget cannula and a thousand injections and knives and butt
implants and anesthesia and that whole mess that will only garner you a
benefit that might be temporary at best. What about honest workouts?
Jane Fonda leaping and cavorting, music pumping, hand weights, lunges,
breaking fat down the old fashioned way, building real muscle? Sound
appealing? Perhaps. But if you’re a little wary of pulling on the knee
high socks and the spandex outfits, there’s good news. Remember the
lingerie models from the introduction, the girls with asses so enviable
that the ‘Brazilian Butt’
has become synonymous for perfection? Where do you think they go to
work out? The answer is finally out there, and it’s with Leandro
Carvalho. Whom, it might be noted, is about to release an At-Home Fitness Workout DVD set gloriously entitled ‘The Brazil Butt Lift’.
Did that make you sit up? It should. Carvalho has been helping
supermodels refine and tone their naturally superb butts for years, as
well as a host of fitness aficionados on the Manhattan Upper West Side.
His legendary classes are now finally going to be emancipated from the
exclusivity of his Equinox club and released to the public at large.
Forget knee high socks, and think instead salsa rhythms and capoeira
dance moves, think ultra-refined techniques whose results have been on
display on countless catwalks and wearing lingerie on the most coveted
and admired underwear catalog in the world. So
ask yourself: the tedious and painful rigmarole of surgery, or a
modern, tropical workout that will not only deliver the perfect tush
but sculpt your whole body? Think about it. Seems like an obvious
choice to me.
